Forza Horizon 2: Hospital Records Radio

2nd September 2014. Posted by Ash

Songs In The Key Of Knife and Hospital Records have been working hard over the past few months with Microsoft and Playground Games on the new Forza Horizon 2 computer game and we’re delighted to announce our in-game radio station Hospital Records radio.

The station features the familiar voices of London Elektricity and Hospital M.D. Chris Goss, as you race round Europe and the Horizon music festival with Hospital Records and Med School Music as your soundtrack. In addition, Med School star Keeno provides the soundtrack to the coveted “press start” sequence, which means ‘Nocturne’ is the first track you hear when you play the game!

Check out the Hospital Record website or the Forza offical website for more info!

Hospital and Songs In The Key Of Knife non-profit syncs

29th April 2014. Posted by Ash

We’ve recently contributed music to the soundtracks of two online videos to help raise awareness for two very worthwhile causes.

The first is a video that highlights the amazing work of disable ex-soldier Chris Jones and his Devon-based company Merci Sports who build adaptive mountain bikes for people with disabilities. Chris felt Etherwood’s track “Begin By Letting Go” suited the video perfectly and in his words “allows disabled people to let go of their normal restrictions and ride out on trails with able-bodied riders, letting go of their limitations as the song’s lyrics describe”.

The second video also has a sports theme. High Contrast’s “Moonwatcher” sets the mood in the final scene of Tony Schmeising’s inspiring video about his trip to the Alaskan Chugach Mountain Range and as he becomes the first quadriplegic bi-skier to the Heli-ski in the extreme backcountry of the Chugach. The trip was funded by The High Fives Foundation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to raising money and awareness for athletes that have suffered a life-altering injury while pursuing their dream in the winter action sports community.

We’re proud to be involved in both of these videos.
