We’re delighted to welcome the vocal and lyrical talents of Rachel K Collier and Georgia Yates to our roster.

Rachel – biog to follow

Georgia is a young singer-songwriter based in Wellington New Zealand. She began learning guitar at age 6, and writing songs and lyrics at age 8. Early influences included the likes of The Cranberries, Bob Dylan, Morcheeba, Tracey Chapman, Neil Young, Cat Stevens and Fleetwood Mac. Mentored by writer, producer and friend Dave Maybee, Georgia wrote and recorded songs all through high school individually, in bands and in duos. More recently, she has experimented with more genres from jazz to folk to drum & bass. It was not until Netsky’s set at the Rhythm and Vines festival held in New Zealand in 2010, that she knew she wanted to get involved in the industry. With this new found love of drum & bass, Georgia continues to develop a musical style of her own.

Camo & Krooked and Enei win at D&B Arena Awards

Massive congratulations to SITKOK writers Camo & Krooked and Enei for picking up awards in the Drum & Bass Arena Awards 2011 held at the Clapham Grand last week.

Camo+Krooked won Best Producer, Best Album (“Cross The Line”) and Best Video (“Breezeblock”). Enei won Best Newcomer producer and Hospital Records picked up the award for Best Label.

BBC Radio playlist hattrick!

Songs In They Key Of Knife currently has THREE works riding high in the BBC Radio playlists. High Contrast featuring Tiësto and Underworld with “The First Note Is Silent” has hit the B list on Radio 1. Camo & Krooked featuring the vocal talents of Ayah with “Cross The Line” is up to the B list on 1Xtra and ”B.R.I.S.T.O.L.” by Danny Byrd and MC Risky is sitting pretty on 1Xtra’s C list. Massive congrats to all concerned!
