Alexey Egorchenkov AKA Enei / Giant
Another skilled writer/producer from the musical hotbed of Saint-Petersburg, Russia. For Alexey Egorchenkov the music adventure started in 2003, but it wasn't until 2007 when things really picked up. His first release under his artist name Enei (pronounced en-eye) arrived on the Dutch label Fokuz and he made his first strides into dubstep as one third of dubstep outfit Giant; he hasn't looked back. Working effectively as a solo artist or in collaboration with fellow Russians Implex, N-Phonix and Megadrummer, Alexey's music has gained massive support from DJs and labels such as Ed Rush, 31 Records, Critical, DJ Hype, Med School, Nu Tone, Heist, Sabre, London Elektricity, Bulletproof, Soul Intent, Utah Jazz, Bailey and many others. Enei is no stranger to tearing up a dancefloor as a DJ either, his sets comprise of old-school neuro funk and tech step with fresh and trendy futuristic minimal drum+bass. |
